Awesome Club. Lots of very hot girls. Best on the weekends during the afternoon if u want it chill. Gets a large crowd at nights, lots of very hot girls all the time.

When I first went to this club, I thought it was the best club I'd ever went to. Then I went to several others, saw what I was missing and... well, you can see my ratings.

Silver Reign is probably one of the more popular clubs in LA, I'm sure. It's located on the West Side; the decor has lots of glitz and gloss. And the dancers are not bad looking, although as a boob guy, there are only about two, on average, that I really like. But Silver Reign has three big strikes against it that I just can't get over: 1) the dancers are bitches, 2) it's the size of a living room, and 3) the waitresses harrass you to buy drinks for the dancers.

My least favorite thing for a dancer to do at a strip club is to nag you about tipping her. I'm not sure if most people realize that giving a tip is a choice - you don't /have/ to give it. And indeed, if you get bad service, the way you're supposed to express your discontent is to either low tip or not tip at all. Your giving a tip is a priviledge (sp?), in other words, not a right. When a dancer expects a tip, or tries to pretend like some extra liberty justifies a higher tip, that really turns me off. Like, "never buy a dance from you or come to this club ever again" turns me off. MOST of Silver Reign's girls are like this. No, let me take this back - most of the hot ones are. The ugly to average girls are decent, but then, the ugly to average girls are ugly to average. The last thing any strip club customer wants to spend his money on bitchy girls he fights with. Major no-no.

2) No matter how much they dress it up, Silver Reign is tiny and poorly lit, even at night. A dancer once told me that poor lighting in a club is because either the dancers are self-conscious, or ugly, or both. As a result, I usually distrust dark clubs. During the day I'm more lenient, because your eyes are already dilated from sunlight, so walking into a building can be jarring, but at night, they have electric lighting - use it. And again, the size of the club is really weird, because its sister club, Skin, is really big (and better lit). There are no rooms in the back for longer dances or anything, and it has the same price structure as Skin - the special long dance ("champaigne room" type) is $640 bucks (as a point of comparison, Jet Strip's special room is $300, Spearmint Rhino's is also $300 with really hot girls, and Bare Elegance charges $500), and the regular dances are $40. Again, Silver Reign charges you a lot for not much, as I can think of several clubs that are better. Really, the only thing this place has going for it is the decor, the girls (appearance-wise, not attitude), and the location (Santa Monica). Otherwise, it's impressive for club newbies, but not many others.

Very nice club, hot girls. I would definitely go back. Good on Saturday afternoon, good prices on lap dances, affordable.
